I have a MKII 2 cabin and we had our icebox professionally rebuilt. Our close marina neighbors have a MKI 2 cabin and had there's done as well. The box is essentially the same. The guys who did our work did it all from the bottom. They cut out most of the existing box and rebuilt it from vacuum panels. The job was pretty labor intensive.
