Am preparing to convert our Icebox into a freezer an am looking to see if anyone else has done this. We have a Mark 1 2 cabin with the standard Catalina refer setup. I am trying to figure out the easiest way to add insulation to the existing box. Has anyone had the countertops out of there boat? Is this the best approach from above? Have looked into R-parts vacuum panels and they seem resonably priced. I plan on adding more insulation to the standard frig if I end up taking the tops off...Any suggestions would be appreciated.
