Am in the middle of installing one. The local rep in SF Bay area and the company seem great. I chose it because of friends back from the South Pacific who said it's the #1 choice for long-distance cruisers. Was looking at Spectra (too expensive) and PUR (not much output).

I got the modular unit, originally with the 4-foot single RO membrane. I couldn't find a convenient place for it so the company changed the unit out for one with 2 membranes at 2-foot each. Cost was minimal for the swap ... shipping cost almost as much.

The membrane unit fits under the sink (with a cut-out in the floor board) at the back. Can see the guages and flip the valves. The high-pressure pump fits under the settee just forward of the sink on the platform there. It's lag-bolted on a piece of 2-inch closed cell foam to reduce any noise that might go into the hull. The membrane unit and the high-pressure pump connect with the standard 3-foot high-pressure hose, but I'd probably ask for 4 feet next time. (They'll give you up to 12 feet at no cost with the original order.) The boster pump and filters are in the pump section of the bilge. Will start connecting the pieces tomorrow.

Going on reported experience so far.

Best,
