The vinyl wrap that was provided with #836 is almost impossible to get on. The wood wrap looks great in the photo.
: It is wood and it is wrapped around a frame on the overhead and mast base. It can be removed quite easily with only 5 screws for inspection. My shipwright did the work and as I recall was quite reasonable. It looks like a million bucks.

Your pictures are very timely for me since we are planning on throwing some money at a carpenter soon to do some of the things you have. Can you tell me some more about the mast cover. I have the standard factory vinyl cover. Yours looks like it is wood.
